Research in Motion’s plans for responding iPhone’s App Center and Google’s Android Market are shaken with the launch of an unaffiliated online application store for blackberry devices called BerryStore.

And even worse for ‘Blackberry Application Center’, BerryStore offers applications that work across both old and new Blackberry handsets alike and across carriers; while official App Center will serve carrier specified applications for different carriers and for Blackberry Storm only.

BerryStore allows you to seamlessly browse, download, rate, and review variety of available applications for your BlackBerry smartphone devices. Blackberry handset users get the liberty of downloading BerryStore as a standalone executable application by simply pointing your browsers to Berrystore.com.

Berrystore is already serving a bunch of forty free applications including Loopt, 3Jam, and TwitterBerry to Obopay, Citysense, and Google Mobile – while paid applications are in pipeline and will be introduced soon.
