Virgin Mobile-Yahoo

Yahoo and Virgin Mobile have reached an agreement according to which prior’s search service will be pre-installed to latter’s 4 million mobile subscribers in the UK. The search engine is trying to grab the mobile search market in the Europe. After UK, the next key targets of Yahoo are France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

According to Mitch Lazar, Yahoo’s head of mobile operations in the Europe:

We will continue to focus on investing in this area. It falls squarely within our strategy of indispensable starting points.
