Hp just went ahead of announcing a desktop without Windows. Yup you heard me right without Windows and now with SUSUE Linux.

The Compaq dc5850 is following Dell’s footsteps, which were to help companies save huge costs via technology implementation at a cheaper cost. as it is being offered only to educational and enterprise markets. The price tag put by HP is $519.

What do you think, will it hurt Microsoft’s enterprise strategy.
